Golden Years services for older people established in 2008, with the provision of free home maintenance (then known as Care and Repair). From that initial service many new services were identified and developed. Golden Years now provides a comprehensive range of services and referrals for all our members.
A 2,600 sq. foot building for the exclusive delivery of services for older people.
An excellent team of trained, qualified, caring and trusting people delivering our services.
A fleet of vans to deliver services and support to all our members.
A Disability Access Vehicle and Bus to transport members to and from the centre.
The Golden Years Centre opens Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and provides a range of comprehensive services for older people, 50 weeks of the year. We offer full day-care for 200 members per week. The hotline for all our services is: 01 8771608

To become a member of Golden Years and avail of all our services, you must be over 65. New members are always welcome!

Golden Years' Outreach Team are responsible for making home visits, cold calls and organising local information days. we also provide the following outreach services to all our members:
Provides home maintenance to all our members for a nominal fee. We also offer a gardening service during the Summer months.
Our Outreach teams make home and hospital visits to members who are house bound, sick or are in need of our assistance.
We register our members to avail of the Seniors Alert Scheme through Pobal.
Golden Years members can also avail of a number of day trips and social outings throughout the year. We also offer seasonal events such as an Easter Tea Dance, Halloween Fancy Dress Party and an annual Christmas party.

Golden Years Senior Centre, located in Darndale Belcamp Village Centre, has expanded its day-care services, now offering full day-care for 200 members per-week. This figure is a 100% increase since the centre first opened its doors in 2014. On 30th November 2016, Minister of State for Older People and Mental Health Helen McEntee T.D. will officially open the new section of Golden Years.
Darndale Belcamp Village Centre will officially launch our new website on 30th November 2016. We plan to officially open our new section of Golden Years and launch our brand new centre brochure too.
The Golden Years Art Group are currently working hard on their 2017 calendar. We will have calendars available in the reception of Golden Years for sale from the beginning of December. Calendars are €5 each and all proceeds will go towards Golden Years Senior Centre.
